NO ACT OF KINDNESS IS EVER WASTED

As a Tara Moss fan, I pay attention to what the author and overall interesting person shares on social media.

Yesterday on Facebook, Tara posted the following after speaking at an event:

“Thank you to all the women warriors over the centuries who fought for our opportunities today. And thank you to the Wake Up Project for this beautiful, safe, female-friendly space. The time for change is now.”

Naturally, I followed up by searching the Wake Up Project.

Celebrating mindful living and leadership, the Wake Up Project is “a community of 75,000+ people offering transformative events and experiences to connect you to your inner wisdom, celebrate what matters most and help you discover how to make the world a kinder place.”

Intrigued, I signed up for their newsletter. Then I spotted the Kindness Cards.

Whoever thought this up is a savvy communicator/marketer. The cards, which are free and posted out to willing participants in Australia, offer people a tangible product and reminder of the Wake Up Project, they enable people to get involved and, most importantly, they help The Wake Up Projects spread their message. Plus, they get people like me blogging about it and thinking up ways to ‘pass it on’ while waiting for their cards to arrive.
